Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who addressed a rally in Kishtwar in Chenab valley on Saturday, will address his first one in Kashmir valley on December 6. “He will address a rally in Srinagar,” state BJP media-in-charge Altaf Thakur said. He said that the party has sought permission to hold the rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, a venue where several prime ministers have addressed rallies in the past. “We have finalised plans to bring people from 10 districts and expect 40,000 to 50,000 in the audience,” Thakur said. Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley will visit the valley before Modi does, on November 28 and December 3 respectively. BJP general secretary Ram Lal too will campaign.
