Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Monday sent a letter to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi questioning his silence on gas pricing in KG basin, an issue Kejriwal raised in the last days of his party’s short stint in power.
The letter, coming three days after AAPs’ letter to BJP’s PM aspirant Narendra Modi, questioned Rahul on Congress’s alleged links with Mukesh Ambani, sought a comment on the $8 per unit enhanced price the government proposes to pay Reliance for natural gas from April and asked whether “tainted ministers” will be given party ticket.
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi hit back at Kejriwal, saying those who fail to govern resort to such allegations. “Allegations without proof are puffed air…”
On Kejriwal’s poser on gas pricing, he said the party does not need to take a position on an issue the Cabinet decided after deliberations.
