Jammu and Kashmir: Polling begins for third phase; CM Omar Abdullah buckles up for his seat

Third phase of voting began for 16 Assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

Voting began for 16 Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir. The phase three polling began amid high security alert eyeing for threats especially after the recent militant attacks.

kashmirJ&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and minister Abdul Rahim Rather are among the 144 candidates who will be contesting in 16 of the 87 Assembly seats.

About 13 lakh voters would be voting across Budgam, Pulwama and Baramulla districts.
