BJP forms alliance with Manipur People’s Party

A spokesman of the MPP said his party has joined hands with the BJP to defeat the Congress-led government.

Manipur unit of the BJP today joined hands with the main regional political party Manipur People’s Party (MPP) to fight the forthcoming assembly polls on January 28.

A spokesman of the MPP said his party has joined hands with the BJP to defeat the Congress-led government.

BJP national spokesperson Prakash Javedkar and north-east election in-charge Chanderasekhar Rao,who are camping in the state,said,it was now time to bring down the ‘corrupt’ government of Congress-led secular progressive front ministry in the state.

“The BJP Manipur unit and MPP desired to work together and fight the Congress government to bring a government which would devote to the development,welfare and communal integrity of the state,” said Javedkar.
