PM Modi’s approval rating soars to 75% in February 2024: Report
This year's survey that comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections said that the highest ratings came from cities in the North zone (92 per cent).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (PTI Photo) A recent survey has found that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s approval rating has gone up to 75 per cent in February this year. The findings were published by the Ipsos IndiaBus PM Approval Rating Survey on Tuesday.
The approval rating on how Modi handled his job as the Prime Minister of the country last stood at 65 per cent in September 2023.
The findings from past years show that the overall approval rating of PM Modi has increased over time — it stood at 60 per cent in December 2022, 67 per cent in February 2023, 65 per cent in September 2023 and 75 per cent in February 2024.
This year’s survey that comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections said that the highest ratings came from cities in the North zone (92 per cent). It was followed by the East zone (84 per cent) and West zone (80 per cent). Similarly, a few of the countries’ tier 1 cities also contributed to the 84 per cent of the approval rating, while tier 3 cities accounted for 80 per cent of them.
