EPPAN said if the court’s January 15 verdict is executed, it will hamper production of a total of 19,736 MW, which in turn will incur a loss of a billion rupees to the country that had entered power export agreements with India and Bangladesh.

A full bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Prakash Singh Raut had instructed that execution of the projects falling partly or fully in the conservation and national park area be stalled.
