Mizoram’s first Rajdhani Express train to commence inaugural run today – Check route, travel time, stoppages

With the inauguration of the Bairabi–Sairang railway line and introduction of Rajdhani Express train between Sairang and Anand Vihar Terminal, the long-cherished dream of direct train connectivity between Aizawl and New Delhi – the two capital cities – becomes a reality.
Sairang Rajdhani Express Inaugural Run
Mizoram’s first Rajdhani Express will commence its inaugural run today. The Sairang-Anand Vihar Terminal Rajdhani Express will run as train number 02507. During its inaugural run, the Sairang Rajdhani Express train will cover a distance of 2,512 km in around 42 hours. This will be the only train on the route. The train will run via Guwahati.
