Mahavir Jayanti Stock Market Holiday Update 2025: The stock markets, including the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), in India, will remain closed today, Thursday, April 10, 2025, on account of Mahavir Jayanti, and shall resume from tomorrow, Friday.

Furthermore, as per the RBI Holiday Calendar for 2025, even public and private banks in a few Indian cities will also be closed today.

As a result, trading will be suspended across all segments, including equity derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), currency derivatives, NDS-RST, tri-party repos, and commodity derivatives.
