A total of 81.34 per cent of students passed the Higher Secondary Examinations in Kerala,results of which were announced today.
Briefing reporters here,Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said 5,132 students secured A-plus grade in all subjects.
With the highest pass percentage recorded,Ernakulam district topped the merit list while Pathanamthitta district registered the lowest pass percentage.
The pass percentage in aided schools was 85.05 per cent while government schools recorded 83.5 per cent pass.
The minister said 42 schools got 100 per cent pass in the examinations. Around 83.15 pass percentage was recorded in Voluntary Higher Secondary Examinations.
A total of 3,36,100 students appeared for the higher secondary examinations.
