Khalistan Liberation Force chief Harminder Singh Mintoo, who escaped from Nabha jail and was arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday, was provided with a large amount of arms and ammunition, said Delhi Police sources. The police recovered two more weapons that he had buried at a farmland in Kaithal district of Haryana when he was taken for a spot identification on Thursday.

Police also recovered strands of his hair and beard – that he had cut and that led to his arrest subsequently – from the spot as well.

On Monday, the police had recovered a .32 bore pistol from his possession when he was caught from outside Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway station.

Sources said during spot identification, Mintoo was made to retrace the route he had taken to reach Delhi from Nabha. He travelled from Nabha to Kurukshetra in a car arranged by the jailbreak conspirators and then he went to Kaithal in a public transport, where he was given the weapons.
