Gang of 6 booked for beating up soldier in Kerala, ‘PFI’ written on his back

Police on Monday registered a case in connection with allegedly attacking an Army soldier and writing on his back ‘PFI’’. The incident was reported at Kadakkal police station limits in Kollam rural police district on Sunday late night.

Police said Shinekumar, 35, was riding a bike when he was waylaid by two persons who took him to a rubber plantation on a false pretext. There, he was thrashed by gang members, who tore his shirt and painted PFI on his back with green paint, and tied his hands with packaging tape. Shinekumar managed to escape with the help of a friend.
