J&K: Civilian injured as Pakistani troops resort to mortar shelling in Rajouri

The injured civilian has been identified as Mohammad Altaf, 37, of Pukherani in Nowshera sector. Sources said that he sustained an injury in his neck.

A civilian was injured on Thursday morning as Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked mortar shelling and small arms fire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s border Rajouri district.

The injured civilian has been identified as Mohammad Altaf, 37, of Pukherani in Nowshera sector. Sources said that he sustained an injury on his neck.

Indian troops retaliated by firing.
