IndiGo flight cancellations, Indian Railways special trains list 2025: After adding over 100 extra coaches to various long-distance trains, the Ministry of Railways has now announced the introduction of several special trains to manage the increased passenger rush.

IndiGo flight cancellation news: Amid ongoing disruptions to IndiGo flights and the inconvenience faced by passengers, Indian Railways has stepped in to offer alternative travel options. After adding over 100 extra coaches to various long-distance trains, the Ministry of Railways has now announced the introduction of several special trains to manage the increased passenger rush.
“In response to the recent cancellation of Indigo flights, Railway has decided to run special trains to manage the surge in passenger demand. This initiative aims to ensure seamless travel and provide timely relief to affected passengers,” the railways said in a statement.
To ensure passenger convenience, Indian Railways has introduced more than 75 special trains connecting multiple cities across the country. These services are expected to benefit travellers stranded at airports who are unable to reach their destinations.
Bookings for these special trains are now open through both online and offline modes. Here is the full list of special trains:

Similarly, Train No. 09730, Bandra Terminus-Durgapura (Jaipur) Special train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 10:00 AM on Monday, 08.12.25, and will reach Durgapura at 05:30 AM the next day. This train will stop at Vanasthali Niwai, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Bhawani Mandi, Nagda, Ratlam, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Palg and Borivali stations en route. This train will have a total of 23 coaches including 01 First cum Second AC, 02 Second AC, 05 Third AC, 09 Second Sleeper, 04 General Class and 02 Guard coaches.
Train number 04725, Hisar-Khadki special train will leave Hisar at 05.50 hrs on Sunday, 07.12.25 (01 trip), arrive at Jaipur station at 12.40 hrs and depart at 13.00 hrs and reach Khadki on Monday at 10.45 hrs. Similarly, train number 04726, Khadki-Hisar special train will leave Khadki at 17.00 hrs on Monday, 08.12.25 (01 trip), arrive at Jaipur station at 14.40 hrs and depart at 14.50 hrs and reach Hisar at 22.25 hrs. This train service will stop at Sadulpur, Loharu, Chidawa, Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh, Sikar, Ringas, Jaipur, Durgapura, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bhawani Mandi, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Basai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala and Chinchwad stations en route. This train service will have a total of 22 coaches including 01 First cum Second AC, 02 Second AC, 07 Third AC, 08 Second Sleeper, 02 General Class and 02 Guard coaches.
Train No. 04062, Delhi Sarai-Sabarmati Reserved Special Express train service will depart from Delhi Sarai on 06.12.25 at 8:10 hrs, arrive at Jaipur station at 14:15 hrs, depart at 14:25 hrs and reach Sabarmati at 00:30 hrs. Similarly, Train No. 04061, Sabarmati-Delhi Sarai Reserved Special Express train service will depart from Sabarmati on 07.12.25 at 05:30 hrs, arrive at Jaipur station at 15:45 hrs, depart at 15:55 hrs and reach Delhi Sarai at 23:00 hrs. This train service will halt at Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Beawar, Marwar Junction, Falna, Abu Road and Palanpur stations en route. This train service will have 05 Second AC, 12 Third AC, 02 Power Car coaches.
