Student finishes 7 km run,drowns in swimming pool

A 14-year-old boy student who chose to have a dip in the corporation swimming pool after a 7 km run,met a watery grave on Thursday morning.

Police said the boy participated in the “to be free from Anameia” run from Fatima College to Tamukkam ground. After finishing his run,he went to the swimming pool for a swim,but drowned,police said.
