State pushes for trains in Naxal corridor

The state government has urged the Centre to consider its demand for strengthening the railway network in the Naxal corridor by sanctioning new trains between Gadchiroli and Adilabad (59km) and Wadsa Desaiganj and Gadchiroli (49.5km) in the Union railway budget,which will be presented on Tuesday.

The state government has urged the Centre to consider its demand for strengthening the railway network in the Naxal corridor by sanctioning new trains between Gadchiroli and Adilabad (59km) and Wadsa Desaiganj and Gadchiroli (49.5km) in the Union railway budget,which will be presented on Tuesday.

The state government indicated that six mega railway projects are pending with the railway board which need to be incorporated in the coming budget.
