The government came under intense pressure from Tamil Nadu’s political parties in Parliament today to support a resolution in the United Nations against Sri Lanka for alleged war crimes.

Pranab Mukherjee says that “India’s traditional stand has been we have never supported any country-specific resolution at the UN Human Rights Council”.
