NCP chief Sharad Pawar discharged from Mumbai hospital

Pawar was admitted on November 3 after he accidentally slipped at his New Delhi residence, 6 Janpath, and fractured his upper thigh.

Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar was discharged Thursday morning from Breach Candy Hospital. Pawar had undergone a surgery for a fracture he sustained on upper right thigh.

NCP party member Nawab Malik said, “His condition is improving. And doctors decided to discharge him today.”

Pawar was admitted in city-based Breach Candy Hospital on November 3 after he accidentally slipped at his New Delhi residence, 6 Janpath, and fractured his upper thigh.

On November 5, the politician underwent a surgery under the supervision of orthopedic surgeon Dr Arun Mullaji.
