Senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar, who had backed the demand for ‘no work, no pay’ against MPs not participating in the House business, has decided to apply the principle to himself.

The Kangra MP has decided to donate Rs 1 lakh from his wages and allowance, which he had earned from the monsoon session, to an ashram in Kangra district. “It pains me to see how Parliament was disrupted… resulting in wastage of the public exchequer,” Kumar said.
