Reward for help in militant arrest

Three policemen were killed and six people were injured in the attack.

The Mizoram Police announced cash rewards of up to Rs 2 lakh for anyone who could help in the arrest of any of the six HPCD militants who were involved in the March 28 ambush on a convoy of MLAs.

Three policemen were killed and six people were injured in the attack. The statement said anyone helping with the arrests of self-styled sergeant-major Biakliana, self-styled sergeants Lalneihkunga and Malsawmkima would be rewarded Rs 2 lakh each, while Rs 1 lakh each for anyone helping in the arrests of the rest.
