After intervention of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry,Colors Channel Monday decided to change the name of its serial Gurbani, scheduled to debut on Monday night,to Bani.

Simultaneously,SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar had urged Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari,to ensure that name of the serial was changed.
