Shocked over her death, Sunanda Tharoor’s cousin Sanjay Pandita Saturday rejected the idea of her committing suicide. Seeking a thorough investigation by an impartial agency such as the CBI, Pandita said, “There was not the slightest possibility of her committing suicide as she had struggled a lot. She was highly qualified and had already seen many ups and downs in life’’.
“Let the truth come out through an impartial and transparent inquiry,” he said, adding that India is a democratic country and it does not matter that her husband is a Union minister.
He also denied that she was suffering from tuberculosis. Except for migraine, she had no other problem, he said, adding that they were now waiting for the autopsy results.
