Armed Maoists blew up a house of a CRPF jawan at Kutumba on Wednesday night. However, no one was hurt in the attack.

Police said the attack took place at around 11.30 pm when over two dozen armed Maoists blew up semi pucca house of a CRPF jawan
Vinod Kumar after taking out all members of his family.

Kumar was not at home at time of the incident. Maoists left a poster at the spot saying it was done to send a message across the local administration to warn that ‘worse could follow’. Ultras planted a bomb inside the jawan’s house and exploded it.

CRPF has been part of every anti-Naxal operation in the Naxal-hit Aurangabad.
