Minor kills cousin in Haryana village

An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death by his cousin in Bhadra village of Haryana’s Bhiwani district on Wednesday.

An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death by his cousin in Bhadra village of Haryana’s Bhiwani district on Wednesday. Mangal Singh was sleeping when he was attacked by his cousin — a juvenile.

Following the incident,he fled by scaling the boundary wall of the house. Mangal and his cousin had a scuffle about a week ago over a petty issue,during which,the accused had allegedly threatened Mangal.

The incident took place early morning,when Mangal — a watchman — returned from work and went to sleep. When he was attacked,his family members heard his screams and rushed to help him. While they saw Mangal lying in a pool of blood,his cousin was seen escaping.

Mangal was taken to the hospital,where he succumbed to his injuries.

His body was handed over to his parents after the postmortem examination.

A team of forensic experts have also collected fingerprints and other relevant evidence from the spot.
