Hospital authorities managed to trace his address after approaching the resident commissioner of Uttar Pradesh in New Delhi. On Tuesday, his brother and other family members finally took custody of him. Ram Kumar was identified by his brother from his little finger,a part of which he had lost during an accident before he went missing.
