Man killed in Kiwale bridge accident

A 56-year-old man travelling back from Mumbai after distributing his daughter’s wedding invitation cards died in an accident on Kiwale bridge on Sunday morning.

A 56-year-old man travelling back from Mumbai after distributing his daughter’s wedding invitation cards died in an accident on Kiwale bridge on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as as Vishwas Namdev Jadhav,a resident of Chembur in Mumbai and originally from Koregaon in Satara district.

His wife and the driver of the car have suffered serious injuries,said Dehu Road police. Senior inspector Ram Jadhav said the accident took place around 7 am on Kiwale bridge. The driver lost control of the car which rammed into the railing of the bridge,he added.
