From next year, to “ensure efficiency and transparency in the examination process”, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be held online for the first time. In the CLAT core committee meeting held Saturday at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, which will be organising CLAT 2015, it was unanimously decided to conduct the examination online.
Vice-Chancellors or their representatives from 16 varsities participated in the meet chaired by V-C Prof Gurdip Singh. “With this, the CLAT process has become completely online, from filling up forms to fee submission,” said the University’s spokesman Dr A P Singh.
