Passengers on board a Jet Airways flight had a close shave when the plane developed a problem with its landing gear at the Khajuraho airport in Chhattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday afternoon.

SDM Ravindra Choksey told The Indian Express that all 58 passengers on board flight 9W 2423 (Delhi-Varanasi-Khajuraho) were unhurt and had been evacuated. Apparently, the plane tilted after landing causing scare among the passengers.

An Indian Airlines flight that was to take off from the airport later has been cancelled. The SDM said the runway will remain closed for 48 hours.
