A bench led by Chief Justice H L Dattu observed that the case pertained to a service matter related to an individual’s grievances. “How can we consider it to be a case on enforcement of fundamental rights? Everything that has been said in the petition relate to an individual’s service conditions,” observed the bench.
It asked the counsel for K Bhishma Gangeyudu, an additional chief judge of a fast track court, to approach an appropriate forum for redressal of his grievances.
Gangeyudu, who belongs to the SC category, alleged that when he was posted at Rajahmundry in 2010, he faced caste-based discrimination from then principal district judge, who is now a sitting high court judge.
He said the senior judge denied him the basic facilities required to discharge judicial duties.
