East: Isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya; mainly dry in Arunachal Pradesh,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram and Tripura,West Bengal and Sikkim,Orissa,Jharkhand,Bihar.

North: A few places in Uttarakhand,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir; isolated places in Haryana and Punjab; mainly dry in Uttar Pradesh,Rajasthan.

Central: Mainly dry

Peninsula: Mainly dry

Islands: Mainly dry

Temperatures recorded in four metropolitan centers were;

Kolkata Max 31 (+2) dc/Min 17 (+1) dc

New Delhi Max 27 (+4) dc/Min 12 (+3) dc

Chennai Max 31 (+1) dc/Min 21 (N) dc

Mumbai Max 29 (N) dc/Min 18 (-2) dc

The western disturbance as an upper air system over Jammu and Kashmir and neighbourhood has moved away northeastwards.

The cyclonic circulation over Punjab and neighbourhood now lies over Uttarakhand and neighbourhood and extends upto 3.1 kms a.s.l. A cyclonic circulation extending upto 2.1 kms a.s.l. lies over Assam and Meghalaya and neighbourhood.
