Polling in various parts of Moga district was marked by violence and booth capturing with repolling being ordered in one booth in Dharamkot.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar said the re-polling has been ordered at booth number 155 in village Indargarh in Dharamkot sub-division where Akali Dal supporters allegedly tore more than 30 ballot papers and cast bogus votes.
Re-polling will take place on Monday, said Kumar.
Surjit Singh Grewal,SSP of Moga,said FIR will be registered against those who tore the ballot papers based on the statements made by the presiding officer.
At Bahona,SAD and Congress supporters clashed leading to the suspension of polling for 15 minutes. Congress leader Balvir Singh Fauji and SAD leader Gurudev Singh hurled abuses at each other.
