French foreign minister Laurent Fabius is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, amidst indications that France is waiting for complete information on the Indo-US nuclear deal.
Fabius will also meet External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to discuss issues of mutual interest. They will be discussing Modi’s visit to France, expected to take place this year.
Fabius will be attending the Delhi Sustainable Development summit, where he will represent the French government along with the country’s minister of ecology, sustainable development and energy, Segolene Royal.
France will hold the presidency of the climate conference 2015 — COP 21 in December this year.
