Bar Hotel Association working president Biju Ramesh on Monday alleged that not only Kerala Finance Minister K M Mani, but three Congress ministers, including Excise Minister K Babu, were also involved in the bar bribery scandal.

Ramesh made the “disclosure” after submitting the visuals and audio recordings as evidence in a judicial magistrate court here. He also submitted a detailed statement in the court.

The fresh allegations against the Congress ministers came when a single bench of the Kerala High Court is slated to pronounce its verdict on bar owners’ petition, challenging the new liquor policy.

“After Finance Minister K M Mani, it is the turn of Excise Minister K Babu to face consequences of the scandal. I cannot reveal the names of other two Congress ministers. I have given evidence on Babu’s financial dealing with regard to the bar issue,’’ he Ramesh.
