As part of its efforts to resolve the controversy over the format of CSAT test paper for Civil Services Examination, MoS in PMO Jitendra Singh Sunday met BJP president Amit Shah at Gujarat Bhawan here. The minister was accompanied by senior BJP leaders Ram Madhav and J P Nadda.

A senior official, however, said any decision to end the impasse over the test conducted by the UPSC would be taken after PM Naredra Modi returns from Nepal Tuesday.

Jitendra Singh, who earlier met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in this regard, had another meeting with the Union Home Minister on Saturday night, according to sources.

After the meeting, Rajnath said, “Once the decision is taken we will let you know. We’re working on it.”
