RIMC admission test on December 1,2

CHANDIGARH: The entrance examination for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC),Dehradun for July 2014 term will be conducted here at Lala Lajpat Rai Bhawan (Sector-15) on 1 (Sunday) and 2 (Monday) December,2013. Only boys are eligible to apply for admission. Candidates should not be born earlier than July 2,2001 and not later than January 1,2003.

Haryana Tourism offers discount

Chandigarh: In order to commemorate 39 years of its existence,Haryana Tourism will offer 20 per cent discount on food to guests visiting any of the resorts of Haryana Tourism in the state on September 1. Competitions for students will be organised on the day at various resorts. Gifts will be distributed, said Sumita Misra,MD,Haryana Tourism Corporation.

Chandigarh: In the wake of complaints pertaining to doctors in government health institutes not following guidelines during treatment of prisoners admitted in the hospitals,Haryana Friday issued fresh instructions and made it mandatory for doctors to sign all reports of laboratory tests of prisoners.

Dhillon new principal secretary to Hooda

CHANDIGARH: Sudeep Singh Dhillon is the new principal secretary to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. The government issued orders to this effect after Chhatar Singh resigned from his post on Friday. Singh has been appointed Member,Union Public Service Commission. Singh retired five months ago but Hooda re-appointed him for three months. He was given another extension for three months with the approval of the Centre.
