Bodies of 2 friends found on railway track in Sirsa

Residents of Bhangu village,Sirsa,found badly mutilated bodies of two youngsters on Thursday. The bodies were later identified as Bappa village residents Ravi Kumar (19) and Diwan Chand (28). The bodies were spotted near railway crossing C-152 near Bhangu village. A team of railway police led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Manphool Singh reached the spot and initiated inquest proceedings. The bodies were handed over to their family members after a post mortem examination was conducted. Preliminary investigations conducted by the police revealed that Kumar and Chand went missing from their homes on Wednesday. “Both were friends and had been working as labourers. Diwan had even got Ravi’s name engraved on his arm. Chand got married about a year ago,” police said.
