BJP on Monday said it would hold state-wide demonstration against the proposed resolution favouring clemency for Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru on September 28,when it is slated to be taken up by Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
If they are saying that hanging of Guru would disturb situation in Kashmir Valley,we say if it is not done,it would disturb situation in the entire country, J-K state BJP chief Shamsher Singh Manhas said.
He said BJP would hold demonstrations in all the districts in Jammu and Kashmir to protest against the resolution being moved in the Assembly for clemency to Guru on September 28.
Guru issue has triggered competitive politics in Kashmir valley between NC and PDP. Both the parties are trying their best to appease separatists constituency on the issue, BJP spokesman Jitender Singh alleged.
To another question on Centre’s interlocutors,the BJP state chief said,We have rejected the interlocutors. We do not give them recognition as both — Daleep Padgoankar and Radha Kumar had relations with anti-Indian elements.
