Battered baby case: Police find Falak’s lost brother
The police have traced Munni Khatoons third child,a five-year-old boy,to a house in Vikas Garden,Uttam Nagar,West Delhi.
The police have traced Munni Khatoon’s third child,a five-year-old boy,to a house in Vikas Garden,Uttam Nagar,West Delhi. The child was in the custody of one Guddu,who had allegedly “adopted” the child. Guddu has three daughters.
DCP (South) Chhaya Sharma said “We have found Munni’s five-year-old son. He is safe. We put him in a children’s home after a medical examination. He will be produced before the CWC tomorrow.”
Munni will be allowed to apply for her son’s custody. Police said they will question Guddu in the presence of Munni to check his culpability in the crime.
“We are yet to establish his role,and how he adopted the child. There was no paperwork involved,” said a police officer. With this,police have traced all three of Munni’s children.
Meanwhile,the two-year-old baby battling for life at AIIMS Trauma Centre underwent a fourth brain surgery on Tuesday to bring down the infection level in her brain. Dr Deepak Aggarwal,a neurosurgeon monitoring her condition,said,“The infection in her brain was not controlled by the lumbar tube that we had inserted in her spine.”
