A Delhi court Wednesday issued notice to Enforcement Directorate, seeking the agency’s response on the bail plea of businessman Gautam Khaitan who has been arrested in the Rs 3,600-crore Agusta Westland chopper deal case.

The Delhi court has sought the response on October 7. The counsel for Khaitan moved an application seeking bail before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Khanagwal, arguing that Khaitan had resigned in October 2010 from the alleged firm for kickbacks in the deal.
