AAP workers storm CM house in Tamil Nadu

As Panneerselvam’s residence had no security protocol of a CM, the workers managed to enter the compound.

A group 55 Aam Aadmi Party activists stormed the official residence of Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam on Saturday evening, demanding a CBI probe into the death of agriculture engineer S Muthukumarasamy. As Panneerselvam’s residence had no security protocol of a CM, the workers managed to enter the compound and sit in front of the visitors’ room for around half an hour before they were arrested by police.

Muthukumarasamy committed suicide in Tirunelvelli on February 20. He was allegedly under pressure from then agriculture minister Agri Krishnamoorthy’s office for appointing drivers of his choice in Tirunelvelli.
