The questions include clarifications on allegations made by the CBI and the prosecution witnesses.

The Special CBI court hearing the 2G Spectrum scam cases Thursday gave a list of 1718 questions for all the accused to answer in their statements that will be recorded by the court on April 21.

“Given the voluminous nature of the case, a draft questionnaire has been prepared, which runs into 824 pages. Considering the nature of the case, it would be in the interest of justice and also convenient to the parties if a copy of the draft questionnaire is supplied to accused in advance to facilitate answering to the questions by them and to expedite the case,” noted the court of Additional Sessions Judge OP Saini.

The questions include clarifications on allegations made by the CBI and the prosecution witnesses. They also include verification of allegations made against the co-accused. Seventeen people are facing trial in the case.
