109 students pass out at IRMA’s convocation

As many as 109 students of Institute of Rural Management,Anand (IRMA) graduated at its 31st annual convocation today .

As many as 109 students of Institute of Rural Management,Anand (IRMA) graduated at its 31st annual convocation today .

In his speech,chairman of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDIA),Nandan Nilekani,who was the chief guest at the function,said the present generation of students would shape the country’s eventual identity as an economic and political force.

IRMA chairman Prof Yoginder Alagh asked the students to bridge the gap “between what our project planners consider our requirement and what our poor people can manage with”.

IRMA director Jeemol Unni stressed the need to “transform the institute into a knowledge institution”.
