Charging the ruling NDA in Bihar with being “biased” against Opposition activists, the RJD on Wednesday alleged that around 100 partymen had lost their lives in incidents of violence during the past two years in the state.

“One hundred of our activists fell prey to bullets for resorting to political protests during the past two years under the NDA regime,” RJD National Spokesman Shyam Rajak alleged in a press statement in Patna.

Rajak alleged that several activists of Opposition parties who raised their voice against the “anarchy and corruption” prevailing under the NDA rule had lost their lives.

He asked the state government to provide adequate compensation to the dependents of RJD leader and a three-time village head Udai Narayan Yadav, who was recently killed in Madhepura during a meeting organised for charting out a strategy for the success of the ‘Maha padyatra’ launched by the party to expose the “failure” of the state government.
