BMC to take steps to curb stench from Kanjurmarg

After the BMC received several complaints from residents about stench emanating from Kanjurmarg dumping ground,it will now curb the stench by pest control measures. “The problem was created by absence of approach road to dumping ground. Due to this,the garbage used to get dumped at one place,resulting in foul smell in surrounding areas. The road is now ready,due to which the movement of garbage vehicles towards the dump has become smooth,” said Sunil Prabhu,Mayor and Shiv Sena corporator.
