In a new video message, top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Naikoo has said they are ready to welcome Kashmiri Pandits back to the Valley but won’t give up the fight for “self-determination”.

“We will welcome them (Kashmiri Pandits) warmly and there is always place for them in our hearts. They are part of our nation. We are their protectors and not their enemies…,” Naikoo said in the 11-minute video.

He said development alone will not solve the problem in Kashmir. “(Even) if India spends all its resources on Kashmir we will still not forget the blood of the martyrs,” he said.

“We are not terrorists. We are true Mujahideen fighting hard for right to self-determination,” he added.
