Salem police on Wednesday arrested a man who had uploaded morphed pictures of a 21-year-old woman on Facebook, which reportedly drove her into committing suicide, news agency ANI reports.

The photos were uploaded on Facebook several days ago but even after repeated complaints from the girl’s family, no strong action was taken by the police.

Enraged because of police inaction, the girl’s parents and others protested outside Salem hospital on Tuesday morning. Later, it was also discovered that one police officer also took bribe from the girl’s parents to probe the case.
