An image of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan being helped by his security men cross a water-logged stretch during his visit to a flood affected area went viral on Sunday.

The chief minister had gone there to take stock of the flood situation but instead himself became a laughing stock because of the image as Twitterati made fun of him.

In the photo, two policemen are seen carrying Chouhan as they walk through ankle-deep water. Chouhan is seen managing to stay dry as his arms are wrapped over the policemen’s shoulders.

Heavy rain lashed the state for the last two days and till last evening rain-related mishaps had claimed 15 lives. Chouhan met the flood-affected people and assured help for the victims of the rain fury across the state.
