The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on the plea to cancel the bail of former Siwan MLA and RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin for one more day.
The hearing of the plea was adjourned for two days after his lawyer asked for some more time to reply. The apex court had also pulled up the Bihar government – which filed the plea – for not having shown equal urgency when the don-turned-political was being released from jail.
Prashant Bhushan, who is representing the parents of three men allegedly killed by Shahabuddin, told the Supreme Court bench on Monday that he was a threat to society while out on bail.
