MCE Society’s P A Inamdar College of Visual Effects Design and Art has been recognised as ‘Institute of the Year, 2016 (animation category)’ in the ‘The Higher Education Review’ in its November 2016 issue, stated a release The magazine reviewed various city colleges based on various parameters including placement records of the college, university results, academic background and expertise of the teaching staff and facilities, the college stated in the release.

The college has a separate placement cell. Till now, the college has achieved success in placing all its students. The placement unit also organises extra classes like communication skills, personality development, classes on professionalism, it was stated.
According to Principal Professor Rishi Aacharya, from this year, the college has started online training division, and now the students can pursue animation training from anywhere in the world.
The animation college is situated on the campus of MCE Society and has all the facilities that are necessary for college of multimedia and animation. It has state-to-art technical facilities like computer labs for separate subjects like 2D or 3D, a studio for shooting experience for students, a well-maintained library and above all, a well-qualified teaching staff who delivers lectures in a creative way.
