Pune doctor becomes president of Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society

Dr Parag Sancheti, Chairman and Managing Director of Sancheti Hospital will serve as the president of the society for next two years.

Dr Parag Sancheti, Chairman and Managing Director of Sancheti Hospital, has taken over as the president of the ‘Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society’ (APAS). He will serve as the president of the society for next two years. Sancheti was elected at the 17th annual meeting of the society recently held at Penang, Malaysia in the presence of the Malaysian health minister. Sancheti took over from Dr Rami Sorial, who is from Sydney, Australia.
APAS is a society of joint replacement surgeons from the Asia-Pacific region and currently has 750 members. The 18th annual meeting of APAS will be held in India next year.
