Hitting out at Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said notwithstanding the “obstacles created by him at the “behest” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will never be made the Vice President.
“You can do as much illegal, anti-people and unconstitutional work on (Prime Minister Narendra) Modiji’s instructions, but he will never make you Vice-President,” wrote Kejriwal in a letter to Jung. In a terse reaction to the letter, Jung said, “I feel sorry for his paranoia.”
Kejriwal wrote that he was offering this advice to Jung as his “younger brother”. “These days you and Modiji get every little thing in the Delhi government probed by the CBI and the ACB – whether or not there is any irregularity,” he added.
The AAP chief, who has been at loggerheads with the LG, has repeatedly accused him of creating impediments in the functioning of the Delhi government at the behest of the Centre.
“I would like to inform you that just yesterday, the Delhi government inaugurated a 100-seat medical college. I would request you to ask your ACB team to lodge an FIR and get it investigated,” wrote Kejriwal… Kindly also tell Prime Minister Modi that he can order a CBI raid on Health Minister Satyendar Jain for committing the offence of completing the medical college in record time.”
He added, “In this world, it is some people’s religion to serve mankind, struggle and develop. We are serving our religion. Some people’s religion is to destruct, destroy and create roadblocks for every good deed. You and Modiji serve your religion.”
